Ad Hoc Films ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and your choices. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you fill in a form, download our free shoot briefing template or book a time with us, we collect the details you give us, such as your name, email address, phone number, message and answers to any questions. When you visit the site, our hosting and analytics tools may also collect basic technical information, such as your browser, device and the pages you view. We also use the Meta Pixel and similar tools, which set cookies to measure visits and the performance of our ads.

How we use it

We use your information to send you the briefing template or other resources you asked for, reply to your message, book and run calls with you, and send you emails about our work and useful content. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link at the bottom of every email.

Who we share it with

We use trusted services to run this website and our communications, including Webflow (website hosting and forms), Flodesk (email), Google (calendar bookings), Vimeo and Instagram (embedded video and social content), and Meta (Facebook and Instagram advertising and measurement). These providers handle information on our behalf and under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies

This site and the services embedded in it may use cookies or similar technologies, for example to remember that you have seen a pop-up, play videos or measure visits. We also use the Meta Pixel on some pages. It tells Meta when someone who saw or clicked our ads visits the site or signs up, so we can measure and improve our advertising. You can control cookies in your browser settings, and manage ad preferences in your Facebook and Instagram settings.

Keeping your information safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no online service is completely secure. Some of our providers store data on servers outside Australia.

Access, corrections and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing michael@adhocfilms.com.au. If you have a privacy concern we will respond within a reasonable time. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
